RGV250 - these little bikes are totally manic, yep they blow up all the time but the handling is like nothing else, the brakes are absolutely incredible too, not made anymore due to its emission problems and the fact that Suzuki decided to sell the engines to Aprilia who put them in their RS250 and made a better bike than the RGV - so basically it killed itself off 80%

GSX-R600 - launched in 1997 (officially though there's been a gixxer 6 in Japan since 1992) the bike is the most powerful 600 and has some of the best fuel injection ever found on a bike thanks partly to Suzuki's clever dual throttle valve system which removes some of the jerkiness of other systems at lower revs but has been beaten handling wise for this year by the new CBR600, R6 and ZX-6R, not that it really matters though as the GSX-R is still up to the job, mind you this is a seriously focused sportsbike so don't buy one to ride to the shops on , you wont like it. 94%

SV650 - bit of a girls bike this one but its perfect for newbies, the engines got good punch low down but soon runs out of puff, budget suspension is fine for road use but overheats on the track, it comes in two versions, the normal unfaired SV650 and the half faired SV650S which has slightly taller gearing for a touch more top speed and clip on handlebars which are lower the bikes finish is not the best around and can start to look tatty quickly if not kept clean, mind you for the money there are not a lot of other bikes as good , 130mph and 65bhp is not to be sniffed at 85%

GSX-R750 - this was the first real superbike for the road, launched way back in 1985 the GSX-R750 has stayed in Suzuki's range ever since, it had minor updates along the way right up until 1996 when we saw the unveiling of the new aluminium framed GSX-R750 SRAD (Suzuki Ram Air Direct) which essentially was a totally new bike that just shared the GSX-R name, its always been classed as a bit of a hooligans bike and has experienced a lot of racetrack success, new for 2000 was an updated gixxer which had fuel injection , restyled bodywork for improved aerodynamics and chassis geometry that copied Suzuki's RGV500 grand prix race bike , all this adds up to create a bike that's even more mental than the one before it but then what do you expect from a bike that weighs 166kg and produces 139bhp ? Its not all perfect though, seeing as the chassis is based on that of a racer the front end can get a bit lively down bumpy roads and the brakes are a bit crap when compared to the rest of the bike other than that its damn near perfect. 93%

GSX-R1000 - WOW!!!! , Way to much power to use sensibly on the road but who cares, the Gixxer thou took the Yamaha R1's position at the top of the 1000cc superbike ladder by being lighter and more powerful than anything else before it, believe it of not but this engine produces more power at tick over than most learner bikes do at peak revs, since its launch the bikes been winning races around the world and David Jefferies managed to lap the Isle of Mann TT course at a staggering average speed of 127mph, not content with producing the worlds most insane sportsbike Suzuki have decided to make it even faster for 2003 . Madness!! 98%

TL1000 - the TL series has been around since 1997, at first it was the half faired TL1000s (there's also a fully faired bike called the TL1000r) but this bike had a strange rear suspension set up and twitchy handling that made the bike tankslap violently down bumpy roads, the situation got so bad that Suzuki had to issue a re-call to fit the TL with a steering damper to calm it down a bit, but this came to late, people had heard the horror stories about its unpredictable handling and a lot of potential buyer were put off , it's a shame as the TL1000s is a seriously capable bike and has plenty of power from the big V-twin engine . 80%

GSX1300R Hayabusa - the fastest production bike you can buy, its As simple as that, the first ones would do just over 200mph but now they have to be restricted to a more leisurely 186mph (!) the Busa is a bit of a bus, it doesn't like corners and is as ugly as hell but then it wasn't designed to look pretty, it was designed to go as fast as hell and that's what it does, if your in the market for this kind of bike then go for the Kawasaki ZX-12R, they're all restricted so they both have the same top speed and the 12R looks better and is green , it also handles a damn sight better than this great lump. 83%
